With the Microgreens Seed Pads Mix, you get a taste of our spicier microgreen’s varieties of Mustard, Radish and Rambo Radish.

Mustard Microgreens not only give you a great taste, the fresh mustard greens contain lots of healthy ingredients, such as vitamins B1, B2 and B6 and especially vitamin C, as well as the minerals potassium, calcium, magnesium and especially iron. Reason enough to refine the food with the fiery taste of the young microgreens! Our nutritional analysis of Radish Microgreens has shown that they have twice the content of calcium and iron, and even four times the content of magnesium. So, these young seedlings are great sources of vitamins and nutrients and support your healthy diet. Radish Rambo Microgreens have a fine, tangy aroma and add zest to your food. In addition to many vitamins and minerals, the young seedlings contain mustard oils that give the mini-vegetables their typical spicy radish flavor. Radish Rambo Microgreens contain twice as much calcium and iron and even four times as much magnesium, compared to adult radishes.

The certified organic seed pads for Microgreens (DE-ÖKO-070) are produced exclusively for Heimgart’s growing system. The seed pads consist of a natural fiber fleece on which the seed is already pre-positioned with a natural binder. If seeds should come loose when unpacking a pad, this is no problem: simply spread them on the seed pad before covering it.

This is how easy it is to grow the microgreens:
Fill the porcelain bowl with water up to the mark. Place two seed pads on the stainless steel insert and place it in the porcelain bowl. Now cover the seed pads with the two included cardboard cultivation covers. These protects the seeds from light and creates an optimal microclimate ideal to support the seedlings growth. Now it is time to relax. Leave the Rambo radish microgreens covered at room temperature for at least 3 days and let them germinate in peace. As soon as the covers are pushed off by the microgreens, usually after 3 – 4 days, you can remove them completely, so that the plants get sunlight and start to turn green. After 5 – 7 days you can harvest and enjoy your microgreens.

All components of the seed pads are free of preservatives, compostable and are produced in cooperation with non-profit workshops.
